Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has an overall score of 58.8, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab's 58.6 score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's design is newer and extremely thinner, but also somewhat heavier than Galaxy Tab. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has 4.0 version while Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a little better performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has more processing cores. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and although they both have the same display density, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a bigger display and a higher 800 x 1280 resolution.
Galaxy Tab has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more internal storage. The Galaxy Tab shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. Both of them have the same 720x480 video resolution, a 3 megapixels back-facing camera and the same video frame rate.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a much better battery duration than Galaxy Tab, because it has a 6100mAh battery size.
