The Samsung Galaxy Tab is slightly better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, getting a 58.6 score against 57.6. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab has the older 2.3.3 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Even being the best in this review, we must note that it is also a much older, somewhat heavier and incredibly thicker tablet.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has a larger number of cores and 2,5 GB more RAM. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a quite bigger display, a much greater pixel count per inch of screen and a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD takes way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab, because it has a lot higher resolution camera and a way better video resolution. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a quite bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab, although it has less internal storage.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features improved battery duration than Galaxy Tab, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab not only is the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
