Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a bit better than Galaxy Note 8.0, getting a 74.2 score against 69.2. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has the older 4.4 version while Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's body is newer and a little thinner, but also notably heavier than the Galaxy Note 8.0.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a lot better screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a way greater amount of pixels per display inch, a larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has 32 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy Note 8.0's processing unit is just as good as Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's processing unit, because although the Galaxy Note 8.0 has an inferior number of cores, and they both have a 2 GB RAM, it also counts with a better graphics processing unit. Galaxy Note 8.0 takes slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a way worse 1280x720 video quality and a much less megapixels back facing camera.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has an 8220mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and the Galaxy Note 8.0 cost the same, making this tablet a very good choice.
