The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, with a 75.2 score against 60.8. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 were only released with a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's design is just a little heavier but somewhat thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a processing unit that is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 one, they have a 450 megahertz graphics processor, a 2 GB RAM memory and a Quad-Core processing unit. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has a quite smaller screen, a much lower resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a just a bit worse pixel amount per display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs a lot more than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
