Google Pixel Slate is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, with a score of 79.3 against 75.2. Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 OS. Google Pixel Slate's design has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, but it's much heavier.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a more vivid display than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixel density. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
