The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is much better than LG G Pad X 8.3, getting a general score of 75.2 against 63.8. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is older than the LG G Pad X 8.3, it's construction is somewhat thinner and just a little lighter. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the previous 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad X 8.3 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a bit superior processing unit than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has lesser processing cores (although faster), and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with a graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a much better screen than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a little bit larger display.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 takes clearer videos and photos than LG G Pad X 8.3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has faster video frame rates. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory capacity.
The LG G Pad X 8.3's battery duration is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's battery lifetime.
