Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a global score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's 75.2 global score. Both devices in this comparison review include the same Android 4.4.2 OS. Even though Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, it must be told that it is also a bit thicker and incredibly heavier.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s CPU is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's processing unit, and although the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has more RAM, they both have 4 processing cores and a 450 MHz graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1600px, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with a just a bit greater number of pixels in each inch in the display.
Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 one, both of them have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB and the same internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has an 8220mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014). Both of them have a back-facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels, the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
