Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a general score of 75.2, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's overall score of 66.2. Both of these devices use the same Android 4.4.2 OS, so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. Even though Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 were only released 3 months apart, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 design is a little thinner but also a little heavier than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a lot better resolution of 2560 x 1600px, a much higher pixels quantity per inch of display and a little bigger display. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with much more memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has 16 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a quite superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have a 450 MHz graphics co-processor and the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has 512 MB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit superior battery life than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a way higher video definition and a back camera with a lot better resolution.
