Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a general score of 75.2, which is way better than Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 score. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, giving a couple additional features and performance tweaks. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a notably newer tablet, and it is also somewhat thinner and a lot lighter than Galaxy Tab 8.9.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a lot better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has an extra graphics processor and a larger number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and way more pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a lot better resolution. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a bit more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has improved battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 4800mAh.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs a little more than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
