The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a global score of 75.2, which is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 general score. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 construction is a little lighter and a little bit thinner than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it was released 3 years before.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a bit better performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has 1 GB less RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a lot better looking screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px, a quite larger display and a greater amount of pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a greater memory for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a SD card slot that admits up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal memory. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has just a little better battery life than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a 8 mega-pixels camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs more than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
