The iPad Air is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, with a overall score of 77.7 against 74. Even being the best in this review, we must highlight that it's also way heavier and just a bit thicker. The iPad Air counts with iOS 8.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Apple iPad Air have quite similar CPUs, because although the Apple iPad Air has 2 less and slower processing cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU and a much better GPU working at 600 MHz. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a little bit better looking display than iPad Air, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a bit higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The Apple iPad Air has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Apple iPad Air takes slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video quality and a much lower 5 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
The iPad Air has a much better battery life than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has an 8820mAh battery size instead of 4800mAh.
