The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a global score of 74, which is just a bit better than the iPad Air's score of 73.9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, and iPad Air works with iOS 8.x OS. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a a little bit thinner and much lighter portable tablet than the iPad Air, even though both were released only 3 months apart.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a slightly better looking display than iPad Air, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 2560 x 1600 resolution and a greater screen density. The iPad Air's processing unit is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's processor, because although the iPad Air has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processor and a better 600 MHz GPU.
