Comparison review
The iPad Air is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, having a score of 77.9 against 75.2. Even being the best in this comparison review, we must tell that it is also a noticeably older, incredibly thicker and heavier device. The iPad Air works with iOS 8.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The iPad Air has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores and 3 GB less RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processor and a 64-bit processing unit. The Apple iPad Air counts with a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Both of them have the same quantity of pixels in each inch of screen, a screen with the same size and the same resolution of 1536 x 2048px.
The Galaxy Tab S3 has a superior camera than Apple iPad Air, because it has a back camera with a way better resolution, a lot bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos and a lot higher 3840x2160 video definition. Apple iPad Air features a greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
IPad Air has a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a 47 percent bigger battery size.
The iPad Air costs a little more than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
