Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S5e is slightly better than the Apple iPad Air, getting a 78.6 score against 77.9. Galaxy Tab S5e is a incredibly newer tablet, and it is also extremely thinner and lighter than the Apple iPad Air. Galaxy Tab S5e counts with Android 10 OS, and Apple iPad Air has iOS 8.x OS. Apple iPad Air features a much better screen than Galaxy Tab S5e, although it has a bit smaller display, a little bit worse screen density and a bit worse 1536 x 2048 resolution.
The iPad Air features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processor and a graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e takes much clearer videos and photos than iPad Air, because it has a way better (4K) video resolution, a bigger camera aperture to take better photos in poorly lited environments and a much more MP back camera.
The Galaxy Tab S5e counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than iPad Air, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab S5e also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The iPad Air counts with superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, because it has an 8820mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab S5e is a better device, it is more expensive than the iPad Air, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPad Air. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy iPad Air, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
