The Galaxy Tab S8 is way better than the Asus Fonepad 7, having a score of 76.7 against 58.9. The Galaxy Tab S8 body is incredibly thinner but notably heavier than the Asus Fonepad 7. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab S8 has a more recent 13 version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0 version.
Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a very superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has 4 less CPU cores and 6 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. The Asus Fonepad 7 features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a just a little worse count of pixels per inch of display, a way smaller screen and a much lower 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Asus Fonepad 7, because it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 1 TB and 128 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a much better battery performance than Asus Fonepad 7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a lot better camera than Asus Fonepad 7, because it has a way higher video resolution and a much more mega pixels camera in the back.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus Fonepad 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus Fonepad 7. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Asus Fonepad 7, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
