Galaxy Tab S8 is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad X2, with a 76.7 score against 72.7. The Galaxy Tab S8 is a noticeably newer and thinner tablet than the Huawei MediaPad X2, but it is a lot heavier. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab S8 has the newer 13 version while Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0, so it counts with some extra features and increased performance.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a very superior processing power than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has 5 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also counts with a 64-bits CPU. Huawei MediaPad X2 has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a much smaller screen and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit better amount of pixels per inch of screen.
The Galaxy Tab S8 has a way better camera than Huawei MediaPad X2, and although they both have a back camera with a 13 mega pixels, the Galaxy Tab S8 also has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. The Galaxy Tab S8 has a superior storage for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad X2, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad X2, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad X2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei MediaPad X2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab S8, else you can save some money and get the Huawei MediaPad X2, letting go a couple features and specs.
