Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a score of 76.7, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s 75.8 score. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has the older 13 version and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has Android 4.4.2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 body is notably newer, thinner and just a little lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014).

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features an extremely better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has lesser cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a lot better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1600 x 2560px, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also counts with a bit better screen pixel density.

The Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a much better memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because it has 96 GB more internal storage and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features just a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a little more money than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S8, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), letting go some features and specs.
