Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a score of 76.7, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 global score. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a newer 13 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1 version, so it gives some nice extra features and a performance increase. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is noticeably heavier than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, it's much thinner and also extremely newer.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a much greater display density, a lot higher 1600 x 2560px resolution and a way larger display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a very superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has lesser cpu cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a way higher resolution back camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
