The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), having a 76.7 score against 68.3. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has 13 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a much newer and extremely thinner portable tablet than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but it's noticeably heavier.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a much better performing processor than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has 4 less cpu cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab S8 features a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px, a higher display pixels density and a much bigger display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a way better resolution back camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1 TB and more internal memory.

Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a really longer battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 60% more battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
