The Galaxy Tab S8 has a score of 76.7, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's 75.2 score. The Galaxy Tab S8 construction is extremely newer and somewhat thinner, but extremely heavier than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab S8 has older 13 version while Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a lot better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a lower number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1600px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with a higher pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with much more storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has an external memory slot that allows up to 1 TB and 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab S8 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a back camera with a much better 13 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a way better battery life than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S8, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, giving up some features and specifications.
