Asus VivoTab Smart is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, with a 58.7 score against 56.4. Asus VivoTab Smart counts with Windows 8 operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi counts with Android 2.2 operating system. Asus VivoTab Smart is a somewhat thinner but a lot heavier tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi.
Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi has a bit sharper screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels count per display inch. The Asus VivoTab Smart has much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
