Both tablets in this comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the newer 4.0.4 version and Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi has Android 2.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter tablet device than the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has a little larger screen, a just a bit more pixels per display inch and a higher 800 x 1280 resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7's camera is very similar to the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi one, both of them have the same video frame rate, a 3 MP camera in the back and the same (HD) video definition. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a much bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 48 GB more internal memory.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi. If you want to save some money, you can get Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
