Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a score of 58.1, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi's 56.4 general score. Both tablets in this comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a more recent 3.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi has Android 2.2, so it gives you a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a somewhat heavier but way thinner portable tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has a greater number of 1000 megahertz cores. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and although they both have a better pixels count per inch in the screen, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a higher resolution of 800 x 1280px and a bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a camera that is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi one, both have the same video frame rates, a camera with a 3 mega-pixels and the same (HD) video definition.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has a 50% larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 8.9, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, resigning a couple specifications.
