Comparison review

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is slightly better than the Sony Tablet P, getting a 60.1 score against 55.7. Asus MeMO Pad 8's body is way newer, somewhat lighter and way thinner than the Sony Tablet P. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a newer 4.4 version and Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3, counting with a lot of extra features.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a superior CPU than Sony Tablet P, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a more vivid display than Sony Tablet P, because it has a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1200, a much larger screen and a higher screen density.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Sony Tablet P. Both have the same 1280x720 video resolution, the same video frame rate and a same resolution camera.
