Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an overall score of 58.5, which is a little bit better than Sony Tablet P's general score of 55.7. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) design is newer, a bit lighter and incredibly thinner than Sony Tablet P. These tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has newer 4.1 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features and performance improvements.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a processor that's very similar to the Sony Tablet P one, they have 1 GB of RAM and a Dual-Core CPU. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a slightly better looking screen than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a little lower pixel quantity per inch of display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a bigger display.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with just a bit better camera than Sony Tablet P, although it has a back camera with a way lower 3 megapixels resolution and a lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a much greater storage to install applications and games than Sony Tablet P, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has 8 GB internal memory.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has greater battery performance than Sony Tablet P, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.

In addition to being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is also by far the cheapest, making it a no doubt choice.
