Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a general score of 61.7, which is better than the Sony Tablet P's 55.7 global score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a newer tablet, and it is also a little lighter and a lot thinner than Sony Tablet P. Both devices in this comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has newer 4.1 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a bit better hardware performance than Sony Tablet P, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM and a Dual-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has an extra graphics processing unit.
