Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a score of 60.4, which is slightly better than the Sony Tablet P's 55.7 score. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a more recent 5.0 version and Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 body is noticeably newer and a lot thinner than Sony Tablet P's, but it's also somewhat heavier.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7's processor is just as good as the processor in Sony Tablet P, because although the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a lower number of cores , it also counts with 512 MB more RAM. Sony Tablet P features a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a way worse 480 x 1024 pixels resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater count of pixels per inch in the screen.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features just a bit better camera than Sony Tablet P. They have the same video frame rate, a camera in the back with a 5 MP and the same video definition. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Tablet P, because it has 16 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a really longer battery duration than Sony Tablet P, because it has a 95% greater battery capacity.

Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is also by far the cheapest one, making it an easy decision.
