Galaxy Tab is slightly better than Sony Tablet P, having a 58.6 score against 55.7. Both tablets we are comparing use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab has an older 2.3.3 version and Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3. Even though Galaxy Tab and the Sony Tablet P were released with only 8 months difference, Galaxy Tab's design is somewhat thinner but also just a bit heavier than the Sony Tablet P.
The Sony Tablet P counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 480 x 1024 pixels and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better display pixel density. The Galaxy Tab has much more storage for games and applications than Sony Tablet P, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 28 GB more internal storage.
The Sony Tablet P has a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a greater number of 1000 MHz cores. The Galaxy Tab features better battery life than Sony Tablet P, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Galaxy Tab captures a little bit better videos and photos than Sony Tablet P, although it has a way worse 3 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a much worse 720x480 video definition.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Tab is also by far the cheapest.
