IPad Air is a lot better than the Sony Tablet S, with a 77.9 score against 57.5. IPad Air's design is noticeably newer, thinner and noticeably lighter than Sony Tablet S. IPad Air works with iOS 8.x OS, while Sony Tablet S counts with Android 4.0 OS. The iPad Air counts with a lot better looking display than Sony Tablet S, because it has a bit bigger screen, a lot greater pixel amount per inch of screen and a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.
The iPad Air counts with a much better hardware performance than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount, the iPad Air also has an additional GPU and a 64-bits processing unit. Apple iPad Air has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Sony Tablet S, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.
The iPad Air counts with a much better battery duration than Sony Tablet S, because it has an 8820mAh battery size. IPad Air takes much clearer photographs and videos than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have a 5 mega-pixels camera in the back, the iPad Air also has a way higher (Full HD) video definition.
