Comparison review
Apple iPad Air has a score of 77.9, which is way better than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch's score of 55.9. Even when Apple iPad Air and Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch were only released with a couple of months difference, Apple iPad Air is somewhat lighter and thinner. The Apple iPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch comes with Windows 8.1 OS.
IPad Air features a much better looking display than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a way better number of pixels per screen inch. The iPad Air has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The iPad Air has a bit superior CPU than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have a 64-bit processing unit and the same RAM memory amount, the iPad Air also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Apple iPad Air features a really longer battery lifetime than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch.
The iPad Air shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch. They have the same video quality, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rates.
IPad Air costs a bit more money than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
