Comparison review
The Acer Iconia W511 is just a bit better than the Toshiba Encore, with a 59.5 score against 56.2. Both devices in our current comparison include Windows OS (operating system), but the Acer Iconia W511 has older 8 Pro version and Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1 version. Acer Iconia W511 is a a lot heavier but thinner portable tablet than Toshiba Encore.
The Toshiba Encore features just a little better performance than Acer Iconia W511, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Toshiba Encore also has a greater number of cores. Toshiba Encore has a little sharper screen than Acer Iconia W511, because although it has a little lower 800 x 1280px resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better screen pixels density.
Acer Iconia W511 has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Toshiba Encore, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Acer Iconia W511 has a way better battery performance than Toshiba Encore. The Toshiba Encore and the Acer Iconia W511 have quite similar cameras, both of them have a back camera with an 8 MP.
In addition to being the best tablet in our comparison, Acer Iconia W511 is also by far the cheapest one.
