Comparison review
Asus VivoTab Smart is slightly better than Toshiba Encore, having a global score of 58.7 against 56.2. Both of these tablets have Windows OS, but Asus VivoTab Smart has older 8 version while Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1. Asus VivoTab Smart is a a little bit thinner but incredibly heavier portable tablet than Toshiba Encore.
Toshiba Encore has a more vivid display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a way smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a little higher pixel amount per inch in the screen. The Asus VivoTab Smart features a bit more powerful processor than Toshiba Encore, because although it has less 1800 megahertz processing cores, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with an extra GPU.
Asus VivoTab Smart captures much better photos and videos than Toshiba Encore. They have the same resolution camera in the back. The Asus VivoTab Smart has a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Asus VivoTab Smart has a battery life that is very similar to the battery duration in Toshiba Encore.
Asus VivoTab Smart is more expensive than the Toshiba Encore, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
