Huawei MediaPad X2 is way better than Toshiba Encore, with a overall score of 72.7 against 56.2. Huawei MediaPad X2's construction is way thinner and notably lighter than Toshiba Encore. The Huawei MediaPad X2 comes with Android 5.0 OS, while Toshiba Encore counts with Windows 8.1 OS. The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a more vivid screen than Toshiba Encore, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better pixel density and a much higher 1920 x 1200 resolution.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with much more storage capacity for games and applications than Toshiba Encore. They have the same 32 GB internal memory.
