Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 68.4, which is much better than the Toshiba Encore's 56.2 score. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Toshiba Encore comes with Windows 8.1 operating system. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a noticeably lighter and much thinner tablet than Toshiba Encore.

The Toshiba Encore counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy Note 8.0. Both of them have a same size screen, the same display pixels density and an equal 800 x 1280px resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Toshiba Encore. They have the same internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit better processing unit than Toshiba Encore, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an extra graphics processing unit. Galaxy Note 8.0 features a very superior battery lifetime than Toshiba Encore. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 takes clearer photos and videos than Toshiba Encore, although it has a much worse 5 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.

Galaxy Note 8.0 is not only the best tablets in our comparison, but it's also the cheapest, which makes it a very good choice.
