Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a general score of 66.2, which is much better than the Toshiba Encore's general score of 56.2. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Toshiba Encore has Windows 8.1 OS. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's body is way thinner and lighter than Toshiba Encore. Toshiba Encore has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. Both have a screen with the same size, the same 800 x 1280 resolution and the same screen pixel density.
Toshiba Encore has a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Toshiba Encore also counts with more RAM.
