The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is much better than Toshiba Excite 13, with a general score of 69.2 against 55.4. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a newer portable tablet, and it is also much thinner and extremely lighter than Toshiba Excite 13. Both tablets in this comparison use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a display that's just as good as the screen in Toshiba Excite 13, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a little bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280 and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a better display pixel density. The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit better performance than Toshiba Excite 13, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and an extra graphics processing unit.

Galaxy Note 8.0 shoots much better pictures and videos than Toshiba Excite 13. Both of them have the same video frame rate, the same 1280x720 video resolution and a same resolution camera in the back. The Toshiba Excite 13 counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a way better battery performance than Toshiba Excite 13.

Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is also by far the cheapest one, making it a no doubt choice.
