Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is much better than the Toshiba Excite 13, getting a global score of 61.4 against 55.4. These tablets come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a more recent 4.1 version and Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0 version. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a just a little thinner and way lighter tablet device than Toshiba Excite 13, although both were only released 1 months apart.
Toshiba Excite 13 counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a quite lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a higher resolution of 900 x 1600px and a way larger display. The Toshiba Excite 13 has a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Toshiba Excite 13 features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Toshiba Excite 13 also has more cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a really longer battery performance than Toshiba Excite 13. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Toshiba Excite 13, although it has a much lower (HD) video definition and a back facing camera with lot less megapixels.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is not only the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
