The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is much better than the Toshiba Excite 13, having a global score of 66.2 against 55.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's construction is newer, thinner and a lot lighter than the Toshiba Excite 13. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0 version, so it offers a lot of extra features and enhanced performance.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Toshiba Excite 13 count with similar CPUs, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has more RAM memory and an extra graphics co-processor, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a little bit better looking display than Toshiba Excite 13, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a lot smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Toshiba Excite 13, although it has a much less mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a way lower (HD) video quality.
