Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has an overall score of 58.1, which is a bit better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7's 53.1 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's construction is older, heavier and thicker than the Toshiba Excite 7.7. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has older 3.0 version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version.
The Toshiba Excite 7.7 features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little bit lower 720 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a little greater pixel density. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Toshiba Excite 7.7, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster).
