Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a global score of 60.8, which is much better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7's score of 54.2. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a newer and somewhat lighter portable tablet than the Toshiba Excite 7.7, although it is somewhat thicker. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a more recent 4.2.2 version and Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0, providing the user some additional features.
