Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a global score of 69.2, which is a lot better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7's 54.2 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 construction is newer and somewhat lighter, but also a bit thicker than the Toshiba Excite 7.7. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0.
The Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit lower 720 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit more powerful processor than Toshiba Excite 7.7, and although they both have 4 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an additional graphics processing unit and more RAM memory.
