Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a global score of 66.2, which is much better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7's score of 54.2. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's body is newer and somewhat lighter than Toshiba Excite 7.7's, but it's a little bit thicker. These tablets use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version, giving a lot of extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Toshiba Excite 7.7 feature extremely similar CPUs, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has an additional graphics processing unit and a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have 4 cores. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a screen that is just as good as the screen in Toshiba Excite 7.7, because although the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a quite worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a little bit bigger display and a quite better resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a slightly better storage capacity to install applications and games than Toshiba Excite 7.7, although it has just 16 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a really longer battery lifetime than Toshiba Excite 7.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a bit better camera than Toshiba Excite 7.7, although it has a much lower 3 megapixels resolution back camera and a worse video definition.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also by far the cheapest one.
