Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an overall score of 64.8, which is much better than Toshiba Excite 7.7's global score of 54.2. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 body is just a little bit thicker but somewhat lighter than Toshiba Excite 7.7, and both were released with only a couple months difference. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has newer 4.0.4 version and Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0, offering lots of additional features.
Toshiba Excite 7.7 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Toshiba Excite 7.7 also counts with more cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Toshiba Excite 7.7 count with incredibly similar displays, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a just a little better pixels amount per display inch and a slightly better 800 x 1280 resolution, they both have a screen with the same size.
Toshiba Excite 7.7 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Toshiba Excite 7.7 also has a camera with much more MP. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Toshiba Excite 7.7, because it has 64 GB internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a very superior battery life than Toshiba Excite 7.7.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 costs more than the Toshiba Excite 7.7, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
