The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a score of 58.6, which is just a bit better than the Toshiba Excite 7.7's global score of 54.2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab construction has the same weight than Toshiba Excite 7.7, but it is notably thicker. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab has the previous 2.3.3 version while Toshiba Excite 7.7 has Android 4.0 version.
The Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a better 720 x 1280 resolution, a quite bigger display and a little bit higher screen pixels density. The Toshiba Excite 7.7 has a better processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has 512 MB more RAM and more cpu cores.
The Galaxy Tab shoots clearer photographs and videos than Toshiba Excite 7.7, although it has a lot worse video resolution and a way lower 3 mega-pixels resolution camera. Galaxy Tab's storage capacity to install games and applications is just as good as Toshiba Excite 7.7's one, and although the Galaxy Tab has no external SD slot, they both have exactly the same internal storage.
Galaxy Tab features a much longer battery performance than Toshiba Excite 7.7.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy Tab is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes buying this tablet an easy decision.
