The Amazon Kindle Fire has a global score of 42.5, which is a bit better than the Toshiba FOLIO 100's 40.2 overall score. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Kindle Fire has the newer 2.3 version and Toshiba FOLIO 100 has Android 2.2 version, providing the user a lot of extra features and a performance increase. The Amazon Kindle Fire is a notably lighter and thinner portable tablet than the Toshiba FOLIO 100.
