Comparison review

The Barnes & Noble Nook HD is slightly better than Toshiba FOLIO 100, with a 41 score against 40.2. Barnes & Noble Nook HD is a much lighter and incredibly thinner tablet than Toshiba FOLIO 100. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a more recent 4.0 version and Toshiba FOLIO 100 has Android 2.2, so it counts with some nice extra features and improved performance.

The Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a lot better display than Toshiba FOLIO 100, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 900 x 1440 pixels and much more pixels per display inch. Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a bit better processing unit than Toshiba FOLIO 100, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has a graphics co-processor.

The Toshiba FOLIO 100 has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Toshiba FOLIO 100 also has 16 GB internal storage. Toshiba FOLIO 100 takes much clearer photos and videos than Barnes & Noble Nook HD.

Toshiba FOLIO 100 features a much longer battery duration than Barnes & Noble Nook HD.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Barnes & Noble Nook HD is also a lot cheaper.
