Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is just a bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a 60.8 score against 57.6. Although the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is noticeably older and somewhat thicker than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, it's construction is still just a little lighter. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has 4.2.2 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bit faster CPU than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and 4 less CPU cores (although faster), it also counts with an extra GPU.
