Apple iPad mini 4 has a score of 75.6, which is much better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 general score. The Apple iPad mini 4 is an older device than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but Apple managed to make it lighter and way thinner. The Apple iPad mini 4 has iOS 9.x operating system, while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD works with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Apple iPad mini 4 counts with a much better looking screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels amount in each inch of display and a quite better 2048 x 1536 resolution. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit better CPU than iPad mini 4, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
The iPad mini 4 counts with a camera that is very similar to Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's camera, and although the iPad mini 4 has a tinier aperture, they both have a 8 megapixels resolution back camera, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality. The iPad mini 4 features a superior memory for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
IPad mini 4's battery performance is just as good as the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD one, although the iPad mini 4 also has a 0 percent bigger battery capacity.
The iPad mini 4 costs more than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
