Blackview Active 8 Pro has a general score of 71, which is much better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's global score of 57.6. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Blackview Active 8 Pro has the previous 13 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Despite being the best portable tablet in this review, the Blackview Active 8 Pro design is way thicker and way heavier than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD.
The Blackview Active 8 Pro has a little better hardware performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Blackview Active 8 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a slightly better display than Blackview Active 8 Pro, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density.
Blackview Active 8 Pro counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a bit better camera than Blackview Active 8 Pro, although it has a back-facing camera with way less mega-pixels.
The Blackview Active 8 Pro has a much longer battery performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 331 percent bigger battery size.
