Dell Venue 8 Pro has an overall score of 59.6, which is just a bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's general score of 57.6. Dell Venue 8 Pro counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD works with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Dell Venue 8 Pro is a somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier device than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD.
Dell Venue 8 Pro's CPU is just as good as Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's processor, although the Dell Venue 8 Pro has a lower amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (but faster). Dell Venue 8 Pro features a little bit better screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it has a lot lower resolution of 800 x 1280px and much less pixels per screen inch, they both have a same size screen.
Dell Venue 8 Pro features a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a SD memory slot that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because it has a 6% greater battery capacity.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a much better camera than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because it has a way more mega pixels back camera.
Although Dell Venue 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
